Tikal by Air From Antigua

Prepare to be awed as you step into the ancient ruins of Tikal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the heart of Guatemala.

Itinerary

Your adventure begins with an early transfer to La Aurora International Airport and a short flight to Flores, Mundo Maya Airport Terminal.

Upon arrival, one of our team members will be awaiting you with a sign bearing your name for convenient recognition.

You’ll be taken to Tikal Park. Here you’ll get an introduction to the park.

Then spend your day touring the various plazas and complexes, including Twin Pyramid Complex, Central and North Acropolis, Great Jaguar Temple, and Temple II.

With your guide, you’ll explore ancient causeways traveling to Temple III, Bat Palace, and Complex N.

Continue until the magnificent Temple IV is reached for a captivating view of Tikal’s forest and principal temples.

The journey continues as you venture through Lost World, Seven Temples, and Temple V before arriving at a picnic site for lunch.

Throughout the tour, keep an eye out for wildlife like Howler Monkeys, Spider Monkeys, Coatis, and a variety of birds, reptiles, and insects that make this experience even better!

At 15:30 hrs approx., you’ll be taken back to Mundo Maya Airport Terminal in readiness to board your flight back to Guatemala City.
